Illustrated books on Oleron

A number of books have been written on Oleron Island: tourist guides, illustrated books (see below), historical studies or novels. For each of them, we provide a link to Amazon.

"Oléron, l'île " by Thierry Sauzeau and Michel Garnier editor: Geste, april 2005. This book presents the Island of Oleron and its inhabitants' activities: fishing, oyster farming, taking care of the vineyards and salt pans.
	"L'île d'Oléron photographiée du ciel" by Philippe Lafon editor: Geste Éditions, april 2010. The aerial shots made by the author from a light aircraft allow us to discover an original vision of the island in more than 200 photographs.
"Oléron & Aix : Deux îles en cadeau " by Evelyne Boyard and Michel Cordeboeuf editor: Hypolais, march 2005. This book takes us on Oleron and Aix islands. It is illustrated with photographs and watercolors.
	"La Rochelle - Iles de Ré et Oléron" by F. Henneresse, F. Godard et B. Dalin editor: Déclics, mars 2005. One hundred photographs on Oleron island, Re island and La Rochelle.
"La Charente-Maritime : ses côtes, ses îles" by Jean-Marie Drouet editor: Equinoxe, june 2005. The author invites us to explore the coasts of Charente-Maritime and the islands of Oleron, Re and Aix.
